„Yes, all the formats are what are called "lossy formats," meaning you trade off sound quality for a smaller file. However, the high-encoded bitrates for these songs are better than good enough for the average music lover who listens to CDs in their midrange car audio system or on their computer speakers or Panasonic headphones. They can't tell the difference. (Yes, Ogg Vorbis is "lossless," supposedly, but none of the stores currently support it.) As much as audiophiles really can hear the difference, the average listener cannot, and that's the majority of music lovers.“
